Vendita di piante

A febbraio, durante la STEAM Week, abbiamo organizzato la Peer Planting. La vendita delle piante consiste in un progetto di gruppo che i bambini di quinta elementare hanno preparato per i bambini più piccoli e li hanno aiutati a realizzarlo. Abbiamo fatto piantare le piante ai bambini e ci siamo presi cura di loro. Con 2€ di donazione per pianta, i piccolini hanno acquistato la propria pianta; con i 2€ di donazione abbiamo acquistato un vaso di legno per piantare altre piante della scuola. La nostra scuola ha raccolto 345€ dalla semina tra pari (la semina con i bambini piccoli)!!!

Vendita di piante riassunto

Finalmente è arrivato il giorno che tutti stavamo aspettando, i bambini corrono lungo i corridoi, ridacchiando, i loro occhi sorridono di sole e luce. Erano tutti terribilmente eccitati, non vedevano l'ora che arrivasse oggi, quando avrebbero portato a casa la loro pianta. Fiumi di studenti in fila, saltando su e giù mentre aspettavano pazientemente di sentire l'anima ecologica, che anche con un seme salva un pezzo della nostra casa, la Terra, respirando dolcemente mentre lo tengono tra i loro piccoli palmi. La sensazione di felicità, aiutando il nostro pianeta, stava inondando miliardi di aule, studenti che consegnavano piante che scendevano giù per le scale, i corridoi, persino i giardini.

Queste erano le nostre condizioni per la vendita delle piante.

Settimana STEAM

STEAM sta per Scienza, Tecnologia, Ingegneria, Arte, Matematica. Ogni anno abbiamo questa settimana in cui ci sono vari eventi da celebrare. Ad esempio, c'è un giorno, in questa specifica settimana, in cui ci travestiamo da qualcosa, una professione che consiste in uno dei gruppi STEAM (Scienza, Tec…)

Quest'anno abbiamo avuto la Peer Planting! Come saprete molto presto, i ragazzi di 1a, 2a, 3a e 4a elementare, con l'aiuto delle quinte, hanno piantato le loro stesse piante, e poi anche noi quinte le abbiamo piantate!

Recount of our steam week

 The very day the steam week started, all of us were bubbling and popping inside full of content emotions, like violets dispersing their seeds.

Thermometers measuring the excitement in the room, breaking, not being able  to record that much temperature.

Stopwatches counting down the minutes until the timer rings and a long week of fun begins.

Experiments, games, quizzes, these are just appetizers for the jollification that filled our week! 

Christmas market

The Christmas Market consists in raising money for charity. 

Every year, kids from 1st to 8th grade create small pieces of crafts to sell, and bring home. 

We always  use recycled materials and use as little plastic as possible.  

The cost for each craft is from 2-3€ and like for the plant sale, we raised a lot of money! 

We use the money to improve our school, to make it a better community and more eco friendly than it was before!

Christmas market recount

Shivers of magic jingling down children’s spines.

Blasts of magic bouncing from one wall to the next, like Santa’s reindeers hovering, scampering from a roof  to the next, striking each student, making them believe in the Christmas Miracles of blessedness. 

Parents gaping at their children’s artifacts, their jaw touching the ground and their eyes doubled in size. At the end of the day, when children go home, drenched in compliments from their illustrious mom and dad and adoring grannys and jolly grandpas and loving aunties and laughing stock uncles, expressing their smoothie of thrill and amusement while admiring the child's creation.
